Refund Policy

COVID-19 Refund Policy for 2021 Events and Tours

In order to register for any event, you must agree to Cascade’s waiver and refund policies at the time of registration.

In-Person Events

For in-person events, 100% of the event registration fee and any add-ons such as merchandise, parking, etc. will be refunded if requested up to 72 hours before the event. No refund will be offered within 72 hours of the event.

If Cascade cancels the event, you will be refunded 100% of the event registration fee and add-ons regardless of the cancellation date.

Virtual & DIY Events

100% of the registration fee and any add-ons will be refunded for virtual events cancelled by Cascade. Virtual events are not refundable if you cancel.

Donating Registration Fee

If you cancel your registration or we cancel an event, you will be given the option to receive a refund as provided in this policy or to donate a portion or all of your registration fee and the cost of any add-ons to Cascade. Cascade is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax-deductible within the limits of applicable law.

What will your donation do? It will support our operations, including helping us create online bicycle education programming, advocating for stronger bike safety laws and open streets to keep people safe while social distancing, making a difference for communities that are hurting, and ensuring the events you love that get postponed come roaring back to their full effect. Your registration fee for Virtual Seattle To Portland (STP) also supports funding for our sister organization, Washington Bikes, which passed the vulnerable user law and protects statewide funding for folks who bike, walk, and roll.


By default, refunds will be made to the original payment method. We will contact you if we are unable to process the refund to your original payment method. Refunds may take up to 30 days after the refund request for processing.

To process a refund, you must do the following:

  • Sign In to your online account at
  • Click "My Account" in the blue bar (top-right corner
  • Click "Refunds" next to the event.
  • On the next page, click the "Request Refund” link
  • Choose if you would like to donate to Cascade and determine the percentage
  • Click the red "Request Refund" box to complete

*If you purchased multiple registrations as a household, please log in as the person who purchased. You must request a refund for each person in your household who is registered.  If you purchased multiple events you must request a refund for each event.
