We also create specialized bike education training for different skills and needs, including safety demonstrations for a business's e-bike fleet. Presentation Style Classes

Introduction to Commuting • 1 Hour • typically $450-650

Virtual or in-person at your office, this class is held in person and covers the basics of biking for commuting and utility trips. This is a presentation only, with one instructor and a demonstration bike. Student cap is limited only to the size of the room provided by the partner. Topics include:

• Selecting a bicycle and making basic fit adjustments
• Riding safely and comfortably
• Planning your bike route
• Clothing, helmets, and gear

Maintenance for Every Commuter • 1 Hour • typically $450-650

Virtual or in-person at your office, this class is an overview of the basics of everyday bike maintenance. In this class you will learn about inspecting and repairing tires and tubes, braking and shifting systems, and how to perform routine maintenance on those systems. This is a presentation only, with one instructor and a demonstration bike. Student cap is limited only to the size of the room provided by the partner. Topics include:

• Assessing the condition of your tires
• Removing the tire from the rim and reinstallation
• Locating and repairing the puncture
• Tools to carry in your fix-kit
• Inspecting and inflating your tire
• Cleaning and lubing your chain

Hands-on Maintenance Classes

Various Topics Available • 2.5 Hours • typically $1,600-2,400

Held in-person at your office, in these 2.5 hour classes students will have access to 2-3 instructors during hands-on time, tools, stands and materials to work on their own acoustic bikes. Student cap is limited to 12 students. Price is per class, not per attendee. Several topics are available:

• Fix a Flat
• Chains and Derailleur adjustment/maintenance
• Brake Systems adjustment/maintenance
• Maintenance for Every Rider (a little bit of everything, not in-depth into any one thing)
• Roadside Repair (emergency repairs for issues like broken spokes, broken/dropped chain)

Group Riding Classes

Basic & Urban Cycling Techniques • 2 Hours • typically $1,700-2,500

In this 2 hour class, students practice basic cycling techniques, like hand signals, emergency maneuvers, shifting gears and braking safely, and conclude with a group ride on an urban route. We can teach acoustic or e-bike riders, or a mix of both in the class. An assortment of Tern e-bikes and acoustic bikes can be provided for an additional fee, or students can bring their own. Student cap is limited to 15 students. Price is per class, not per attendee.
