Help Hungry Families this Season
Join Us for Cranksgiving
Celebrate the annual Cranksgiving food drive on November 23 by joining us for a unique combination of scavenger hunt and biking. Not only will you enjoy a delightful day on your bicycle, but you’ll also be fighting food insecurity in Seattle. The beneficiaries of this event are the University District Food Bank, Byrd Barr Place, and the Rainier Valley Food Bank.
All open opportunities
Looking for other ways to volunteer? There are hundreds of opportunities to get involved with Cascade: from event preparation & staffing, to leading rides, to volunteering with youth on bikes, and more. Check out all available opportunities and make an impact on the cycling community.
Rides & Events
Get a glimpse behind the curtain and see how rides like Seattle to Portland are made! We're always looking for volunteers for pre-event prep and day-of operations like packet stuffing, start/finish line support, and rest stop leaders.
Outriders
The Cascade Outriders are a highly skilled and experienced volunteer group that provides ride support for logistical, mechanical, traffic, and minor medical incidents in addition to providing information and moral support to riders.
Food Bank Support Rides
Our mission is to deliver pedal-powered food and goods to food-insecure neighbors, all from the seat of a cargo-carrying bicycle. Plus it’s just fun to ride your bike with a purpose! We serve marginalized communities across Seattle.
