Refunds and Illness

Up to 5 days before the class date, your payment can be refunded in full (minus a $5 service fee). (Example: if class is on a Thursday evening at 6:30pm, the refund period would close the prior Sunday morning at 12:05am.

Instructions for Refunds

By default, refunds will be made to the original payment method. We will contact you if we are unable to process the refund to your original payment method. Refunds may take up to 30 days after the refund request for processing.

To process a refund, you must do the following:

  • Sign in to your online account at
  • Click "Account Dashboard" in the top right corner
  • Click "Orders" on the left sidebar menu
  • Click on the order number that includes the ride registration (ensure you click the right order)
  • On the next page, click the "Request Refund” link on the top right corner
    • If you requesting refund on your registration, select the registration and all registration add-ons (if applicable) will automatically be added to the request. 
    • Alternatively, if you are requesting a refund on a registration add-on(s) ONLY (such as return transportation, parking, merchandise, etc.) make sure to select those items. Do not select the registration
    • Please enter your reason for requesting a refund
  • Click the green "Request Refund" box to complete

Note: If you purchased multiple registrations as a household, please log in as the person who purchased. You must request a refund for each person in your household who is registered. If you purchased multiple events, you must request a refund for each event.

If you are sick and cannot attend class, please contact or (206) 620-2383. If you do this with at least 48 hrs notice of the class date and time, you will receive a full refund (minus a $5 service fee). If you contact AdultClasses in the period of 6- 48 hours before the class date and time, you’ll receive a 50% refund. Contacting AdultClasses during any period of 6 hrs or less before the class, or after the class, will not result in a refund. 

(Example: if you are sick and class is on a Tuesday at 6:30pm, if you contact AdultClasses before Sunday at 6:30pm, you’ll receive a full refund minus $5. If you contact AdultClasses before 12:30pm on Tuesday you’ll receive a 50% refund.)

Swapping registration to a different student

It is free to have a different student attend class than the one who registered and paid, as long as the new student has completed any prerequisites like those for our group riding classes. The initial purchaser should reach out to or (206) 620-2383 and provide the name of the new student, their email, and phone number. The purchaser will be responsible for making sure that the new student has all the information that they need to attend the class. 

If you will not be at class and do not want a refund:

Please still reach out to or (206) 620-2383 or to your instructor if you are taking a Learn to Ride / Learn to Ride Further lesson to free up your class spot to another student. Thank you for supporting Cascade Bicycle Club and for donating your class payment!
