Event Description

Pedal along the Duwamish and Green River Trails from Georgetown to Tukwila and into Kent, taking in city views along the way. The 38-mile route is an easy-going, mostly flat ride using protected trails and city streets. Taste local brews from three area breweries and enjoy some nosh at the finish line.

This event is a fundraiser for Cascade Bicycle Club's programming in advocacy, education, and community rides, such as the Major Taylor Project, Let's Go, Your Streets Your Say, and Pedaling Relief Project.

Register by June 11 and your rider packet will arrive the week before the event.

Prices increase by $10 on June 12. If you register between June 12 and June 20, your packet is available at the start line.

Parking

Parking is available at a large parking lot along Ohio Ave S, via an entrance on S Alaska St, just across the street from Two Beers Brewing.

Nearby on the route, you can refill your water and electrolyte bottles and enjoy light snacks that will power you for the second half of the ride. Fare includes energy bars, chips, nuts, and fruit.

Gluten free and vegan snacks are available. 

Georgetown Brewing: Mile 37. Redeem a drink ticket here.

Finish line: Two Beers Brewing hosts the finish line party. Persons under 21 not permitted in brewery or beer garden. Redeem a drink ticket here. Food available.

Support During the Ride

This ride is supported by Cascade staff and volunteers, local community group volunteers, and municipal and county services.

Support and gear (SAG) vehicles are present on the route and dispatched when you call the ride support hotline. SAG vehicles can transport you and most models of bikes in the event of a mechanical or minor medical event. You should always call 911 in a life-threatening emergency.

Outriders are volunteers in white, green, and black jerseys that ride on the route, assisting you with minor mechanical and minor medical issues, like cuts and scrapes, dispensing advice and directions, and helping you to Ride S.M.A.R.T. 

Mechanics are posted at the start line.

Weather

May weather is generally favorable, but be prepared for light winds and cooler temperatures in the morning. Bring a second layer and a rain jacket to be prepared for anything. 

Get your bike tuned up and in shape to ride in slick and rainy conditions. Bring front and rear lights, install fenders, service your brakes, and clean your chain.

E-Bikes

Class 1 and 2 bikes are permitted on this ride, which uses multi-use trails.
