Event Description
Cruise through the heart of Woodinville Wine Country on the 7th annual Woodinville Wine Ride! The route travels through several winery districts on the northern side of Lake Washington, with riders utilizing the beautiful Sammamish River Trail and scenic low-traffic roads through Woodinville and its surrounding communities. Mini-stops along the route will feature a wine tasting and food sampling. Your return to the finish line rewards you with a party with a wine and beer garden, food trucks, and more! The ride this year puts a little "Odin" into "Woodinville" by starting and ending at Black Raven Brewery's Woodinville location, but there will still be plenty of vino from start to finish, only with the addition of beer as an option for those so inclined.
This event is a fundraiser for Cascade Bicycle Club's programming in advocacy, education, and community rides, such as Your Streets Your Say, sliding-scale riding and maintenance classes, and the Pedaling Relief Project.
New this year: Thanks to our friends at Priority Bicycles, every registrant of the Woodinville Wine Ride is entered to win a FREE E-Bike Classic +! Priority is giving away two e-bike classics to two lucky riders.

Support During the Ride
This ride is supported by Cascade staff and volunteers.
Support and gear (SAG) vehicles are present on the route and dispatched when you call the ride support hotline. SAG vehicles can transport you and most models of bikes in the event of a mechanical or minor medical event. You should always call 911 in a life-threatening emergency.
Outriders are volunteers in white, green, and black jerseys that ride on the route, assisting you with minor mechanical and minor medical issues, like cuts and scrapes, dispensing advice and directions, and helping you to Ride S.M.A.R.T.
Mechanics are posted at the start line.
Weather
Early September weather is generally favorable, but be prepared for light winds and cooler temperatures in the morning. Bring a second layer and a rain jacket to be prepared for anything.
Get your bike tuned up and in shape to ride in slick and rainy conditions. Bring front and rear lights, consider installing fenders, service your brakes, and clean your chain.
E-Bikes
Class 1 and 2 bikes are permitted on this ride, which uses multi-use trails.
Training
To help you prepare for this ride, you can check out our extensive schedule of Free Group Rides in the Puget Sound area. Find rides that fit your schedule and desired pace and distance.
