Frequently Asked Questions

Ticket Sales

Q: If I put a bike up for consignment, do I need to purchase an admission ticket to re-enter? No. Your $10 consignment fee counts as a general admission ticket so that you can re-enter the venue and attend the event.

Q: I bought my ticket online. How do I get in the door? Please tell us your name. We'll have you on a will call sheet.

Q: It's the Friday before the Seattle Bike Swap and I can't purchase a ticket online! What's up? We close online ticket sales the day before the event so that we can do some record keeping. Boring, but true. Ticket sales will be available at the door at the event.

Consignment

Q: If I put a bike up for consignment, do I need to purchase an admission ticket to re-enter? No. Your $10 consignment fee counts as a general admission ticket so that you can re-enter the venue and attend the event.

Q: I want to consign a bike. What asking price and lowest price should I set? Your asking price will be listed on the tag we hang on the bike. Your lowest price is kept on file, but never revealed to potential buyers. We recommend being somewhat flexible on price to increase the chances of selling your bike. It also depends on your priorities: do you want to end the day with more cash than you had that morning, or are you okay with taking your unsold bike home at the end of the day to continue the hunt for someone willing to pay your asking price?  The choice is yours and we will do our best to get your bike sold for a price that is acceptable to you.

E-Bike Demo

Q: What do I need to bring with me to try out an e-bike? Bring a helmet, suitable clothing (for rain or cold), and ID.

Q: What should I be aware of when trying out an e-bike? You'll exit the Exhibition Hall via a ramp in the back of the venue. Please walk the bike down the ramp; it exits into a courtyard for trucks. We'll have volunteers posted to remind you to walk down the ramp and to enter slowly when you return. Please be very cautious and anticipate truck and pedestrian traffic. See our Ride SMART guidelines.

Refunds

Sorry, tickets and consignment fees for the Seattle Bike Swap are not refundable. All sales on consignment bikes are final. See our Refund Policy page.
