  • Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.

  • A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Join us for an 11-mile gravel adventure on the unpaved portion of the Cedar River Trail.

The plan is to do an out-and-back on the trail with a possible side trip here or there.

The trail surface is made up of compact dirt and gravel.  While the trail is rideable on 25s (depending on one's comfort level), we recommended a tire width of 28 or wider for the ride.

Let's meet at the Cedar River Traihead parking lot located next to the Hwy 18 overpass and please be ready to ride at 10:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

Restrooms are not available at the start, so plan accordingly.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. 

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
