Hills around Edmonds - Make room for Turkey

Join us for a ride from Edmonds City Park  on a 23.4 mile route at a Moderate Pace 14-16 MPH! and make room for Turkey.

The route is a hilly ride with many views of the Sound and Olympic Mts. starting in Edmonds.  To warm up we’ll travel north and take in views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains on our way to Meadowdale Beach Rd.  After our climb up Meadowdale we head south toward Shoreline Community College and Innis Arden with more ups and downs along the way.   There is  a nice downhill ride at Shoreline CC.  After traveling through Innis Arden, we head back to Edmonds stopping at Richmond Beach for another view of the Olympics and Sound.   We will regroup after major hills. This is a great ride to make room for tomorrow's turkey.

Let's meet at Edmonds City Park and please be ready to ride at 10:00. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group. Note: entrance to the Park is on 3rd Ave.  The gravel parking lot is down the hill on the right .

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup after hills . 

Restrooms are available at the start 

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancelation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
