Coffeeneuring in the South End

Join us for a ride from Sumner on a 33 mile route at a moderate pace (14-16 mph). We will ride north from Sumner through Pacific, Auburn and Kent. Once we arrive in Kent we will have our coffee stop at Panera Bread in the Kent Station complex(mile 15.2).

Please be ready to ride at the ride start time. We will start introductions and a safety briefing and we will begin riding when that's done.  Only riders who are there for the safety briefing @ 10:00 a.m. will be able to join us on the ride. 

The ride is mostly flat with a few small short hills thrown in. 

Restrooms and water are available at the start inside the Fred Meyers. Again, our main stop is at Panera at mile 15.2, and there is an optional restroom stop at mile 8.9 (Walmart in the Outlet Collection Mall) and at mile 20.5 at Isaac Evans Park in Auburn. Make sure you have plenty to drink along the way.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case, and have a plan for getting home or back to the start in case you or your bike are unable to finish the route.

PLEASE DON'T JOIN THE RIDE IF YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
