Join us for a social ride on Eastside bike friendly roads and trails. This is a 39.4 mile route through Kirkland, Redmond, Bellevue and Issaquah with a restroom stop at Mile 11.2 (Idlewood Park), a coffee/food stop in Issaquah at Mile 21.6, and a restroom stop at Mile 35 (Grass Lawn Park). There are hills, but we climb them at our own pace and always regroup at the top. Restrooms/water are available at the start. Park at south end of parking lot.
Meet at Crestwoods Park and please be ready to ride at 10:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group. Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. If you wish to join along the route, please contact us to arrange a meeting point where we can stop and give you the safety briefing.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
