Blyth Park to Redmond with two climbs

Join us for a ride from Blyth Park in Bothell on a 33 mile route at moderate pace (14-16 mph). We'll climb Hollywood Hill and Novelty Hill (about 500 feet of gain each) in the first 14 miles, and after descending Novelty via Redmond Ridge we'll be mostly flat the rest of the way to Redmond and return. There's a planned refreshment stop at Victor's Celtic Coffee Company in Redmond.

Let's meet in the Blyth Park parking lot at 9:15 for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 9:30 am. The Club's COVID-19 policy requires all riders to be present for the pre-ride briefing, and does not allow for riders to join along the route.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and will regroup frequently. 

Restrooms and water are available at the start. There are optional stops for restrooms/water at miles 10, 14, and 26.7.  The coffee/pastry stop is at mile 23.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders, preferably reaching 2-4 inches from the ground, if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
