Redmond Trails and Ice Cream

Please note: During COVID-19 restrictions, all Free Group Rides are limited in the number of allowed participants. Registration for the ride (using the red “Register Now” button above) is REQUIRED to participate. If you decide not to ride, please click the red "Cancel My Registration" button above so that an additional spot will be made available to another.

Face coverings (for mouth and nose) are required when the group makes extended stops. Face coverings are recommended for the duration of the ride. Please bring personal hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and tissues for use at rest stops.

We will observe current social distancing guidelines when off the bike, and strive to maintain at least 10-12ft separation between riders when on the bike.

Join us for a ride from Downtown Redmond on a flat 14 mile route at a Steady Pace (12-14mph)!

This ride is perfect for beginners, anyone trying to get back on their bike after a break, or anyone wanting a fun social ride. This ride is will take you through a number of trails in the Downtown Redmond area, stopping at Sammamish Landing Park, where on a clear day we can see Mt Rainier. The ride is 75% trails and 25% bike-friendly roads. After the ride, we can grab some ice cream at Molly Moon's right behind the parking lot.

Let's meet at the Redmond Central Connector parking lot (yellow and blue parking lot behind Half Price Books) at 5:15pm for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 5:30pm.

If you do not arrive in time at 5:15pm to hear the pre-ride safety briefing, you will not be allowed to join the ride.

Restrooms are available near the start at Redmond Downtown Park. There are also restrooms at Sammamish Landing Park halfway through the ride.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
