Join us for a ride from Burnett Linear Park on a 27 mile route at steady pace at 12-14mph!
That's right, you heard it! If we have rain or shine on Saturday we are riding.
We will begin our ride at Burnett Linear Park, where we will travel north towards the Renton Municipal Airport. We will proceed through the Westside of the Washington Lake Blvd. Our rest stop/coffee stop will be at the Starbucks near Madison Park! We will ride back 99.9% of the same route back.
Let's meet at the Burnett Linear Park at 10:45 to get ourselves ready and to listen to our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 11am.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).
Restrooms are not available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at miles 7 and our mid way destination at Starbucks.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
