Join us for a ride from South Kirkland Park & Ride on a 39mile route at vigorous pace of 19+/-mph (on flats with no wind)!

Let us go out and ride to burn off the Thanksgiving calories on this classic Eastside ride - Seven Hills of Kirkland. The route will tackle in this order: 1) Market, 2) Juanita Drive, 3) Seminary, 4) Norway, 5) Kingsgate, 6) Winery, 7) Rose.

Let's meet at South Kirkland Park & Ride at 8:45am for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 9:00am.

Ride Stops:

  • No restrooms at the Start, first restroom at Marina Park, mile 2.8
  • Restroom stop at Blyth Park, mile 14.1
  • Coffee stop at The Den, mile 15

Climbing: Occurs at your own pace.  If you want to go ahead of the Ride Leader, confirm with the Ride Leader where the safe climb regrouping point is.

  • 97th and Juanita Drive, after the descent from Market Street
  • Fire station after the left turn onto Holmes Point
  • QFC after the Seminary climb
  • Top of Norway

Regroup/Togetherness Criteria: This is a "Stay Together" ride.  That means we will stay together.  However, you should have a way back should you or your bike fail due any of the following (but not all-inclusive) things to consider:

  • Significant or unserviceable mechanical issues.
  • Not being able to maintain the advertised pace (speed and effort).

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!
