We will gather at the Paine Field Community park for a wonderful ride in South Snohomish County. Certainly a coffee break thrown in.
What's the plan:
Join me for a fun ride at a steady pace of 12-14mph as we ride from Paine Field Community Park onto Harbour Pointe, then over to Silver Lake and return. We will have a chance explore Boeing, enjoy some rolling terrain, and just get on the bikes after Christmas. We will have opportunities for a bathroom/ food break at 16 miles (Starbucks) and there is a bathroom at the start. We will regather at appropriate places.
E Bikes are welcome
Cue-sheets are not provided; please print your copy.
Registration: Your registration on this website is appreciated; please click the red "Register Now" button above, then all you'll have to do at the start of the ride is check off your name. You don't need to be a member of the club, but you do have to create an account.
Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to check off your name or sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe! Front and rear lights are highly recommended! Riders should be able to maintain the posted pace. We regroup occasionally. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group and bring a charged cellphone if possible. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun!
Steady rain or other unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled, it will be posted by 7:30 am in the comment section below. In that case the ride leaders will not be at the start.
