Please join me for my first ride post-shoulder surgery after being off my bike for 3 months!

Join us for a ride from Bicentennial Park on a 32 mile route at steady (12-14 mph)!

This ride is flat as a pancake.

Let's meet at the Bicentennial Park at 10:40am for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 11am.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together (though there are no hills).

Restrooms are available at the start. We’ll stop for coffee/snacks at Starbucks at mile 16.

You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.  The ride will be canceled if the temperature is below 38 degrees.

We hope you can join us!

Comments

Weather isn't looking good, but more of an issue may be debris on the trail from the wind.  Will decide by 8am.

Rain and wind.  There will be too much debris on the trails to safely ride.

Good call, Alan.  I will see you on a better day!
