Who's ready for a Ramen Ride? This will be Marcia Matson's first Mentored Ride. Join us as we support her in becoming a Cascade Ride Leader. We will ride on roads, trails, and plan to celebrate at Kent Station for Ramen at Shibu Ramen after the ride. This will be a leisurely paced group (10-12mph on the flats), and we will make every effort to stay together. However, all riders are encouraged to have an Orca Card or a pick-up if you can not finish the ride, or for mechanicals that can not be fixed safely. There is one short little hill, and folks can climb the hill at their own pace, and we will regroup at the top. You don't need to wear fancy spandex pants, but a helmet and a fun attitude are "Required!" Also, bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, some food/water and cash for Ramen. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Our start location will be at Cycle Therapy Bike Shop at 105 W Smith St, Kent, WA 98032. Please do NOT park in the bike shop parking lot. Rather park in the street parking nearby. There is plenty of street parking between Cycle Therapy and the Kent Station. As we will be near Kent Station, bathrooms are located nearby. Please come early enough (no later than 8:40 a.m.) to ready yourself and your bike and listen to the ride briefing and S.M.A.R.T. safety talk. We will roll out right at 9:00 am. You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

Route question
im signed up for this ride, are all of the trails paved?
Route
Hi. Most of the route is paved. I can think of one short area (maybe 25 yards) that is like a dirt trail. There is also a bridge that is not paved, but I will advise that everyone walk over, because it can get slippery, especially in the wet weather. Hope to see you in the AM. ;). M
