Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Ride around Lake Washington and enjoys views of the lake on a fun ride. The route includes bike trails and roads with mostly wide shoulders. At the start there are bathrooms at Log Boom Park. We will stop briefly at the bathrooms at Renton's Coulon Park at about the 20 mile mark. We can stop for a snack at the Starbucks across from Leschi Marina. We will limit speed to 15mph while on sections of multi-use path.
Bring a full water bottle and a snack. Please RSVP by selecting the red Register Now button at the top of this page and select the wavier, that will speed up the sign in process and you can just check off your name at the start. If you don't show up you do not have to unregister.
Route map and cue sheet and route gradient are found at the link below. If you want a cue sheet please print one and bring it with you. Be prepared to repair your own flats, ride with no ear buds, and wear a good fitting helmet. Please arrive early to hear the standard Cascade Bicycle Club safety orientation and prepare to ride at 9 AM. We will meet in the Log Boom Parking lot near the play area. I will be wearing the yellow and blue Cascade Ride Leader Jersey and a silver helmet.
Please be kind to park users and do not park in the Logboom parking lot, rather there's plenty of street parking east of the park along NE 175th St.
Showers or unsafe conditions cancel the ride. If the ride is canceled a cancellation will be posted in the comments section of this posting by 700 AM, and the ride leader will not be present at the start of the ride.
