The snow is gone and the sun has returned! You know it's time to get out on your bike, but there is still a chill in the air. What could be better than than climbing gentle hills, a hot cup of coffee, and maybe a pastry? Come join us for a social ride at a moderate pace from Redmond's Perrigo Park to the Maltby Cafe, and back. This is a mentored ride for Greg Rajkovic, so sign-up early and sign-up often!
Greg's route heads north out of Perrigo Park, around Lake Leota, and onward to the Maltby Cafe. This will be a planned social stop for coffee and pastries. Then we will head back down the Paradise Lake Rd., Woodinville-Duvall Rd., climbing Old Woodinville-Duvall Rd. and on to Trilogy. From there it's a cruise back to Perrigo Park.
We will roll-out at 10:00 am, so please be ready to ride, tires inflated, and helmets on by 9:45 am, so we can discuss the route points and riding S.M.A.R.T.!
All riders are expected to have the needed tools, equipment, and skills to repair a flat tire. Additionally you should have a charged cell phone, and/or a back-up plan in the event you cannot finish the ride for any reason.
There are bathrooms at the start and cafe.
Pre-registration is encouraged and appreciated. With a Cascade Bicycle Club membership (FREE!), you can do so by clicking the red "Register Now" button, at the top of this page. It will save you time and let everyone get to the fun sooner!
There is a RWGPS route link provided below for your convenience. There will not be cue sheets provided. If you would like a cue sheet, please utilize the link and print one out.
Cancellation Policy: Steady rain will cancel the ride. If the ride is canceled for any reason, it will be posted here at least 2 hours prior to the posted ride start time.
