Event has already happened.

This is an easy ride to start but then we do some hill climbing.  We'll start at Log Boom Park in Kenmore.  Ride out Riverside drive to Woodinville.  From there we'll head out 175th up the hill to Hollywood Hill.  We'll ride across the top of Hollywood Hill and descend to the Hollywood Schoolhouse.  After the descent we'll get on the Sammamish River trail and head back to Log Boom stopping for a quick break at Gateway Park.  Please register for this ride using the register tab. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ride start.  Showers, rain, snow, ice, cancels the ride and cancellation will be posted 2 hrs before ride start.  Ride leader will not be at the start if canceled

What Terrain Means

Terrain indicates the most common or average terrain type of the ride and should be considered relative to the length and overall difficulty of the ride. For example, a long-distance ride with a lot of elevation gain will be overall less challenging than a short ride with equal elevation gain. Consider the pace and frequency of regroup as well to understand how advanced a ride may be.

  • Mostly flat: Trails and/or mostly flat roads with a possible gentle uphill
  • Rolling: Climbs are short and easy, not too numerous
  • Some hills: A few short, steep hills, some moderate upgrades and/or longer gentle climbs
  • Hilly: Consistent or continuous climbing
  • Off-road: Significant unpaved sections
