Training for Spring # 7 Kenmore-Snohomish Out & Back (Steady)

This is a 9-week progressive series intended to prepare us to start strong in our spring training rides. Optional social gatherings are available before and after the rides to meet and connect with Ride Leaders and fellow riders.
This week’s ride starts at the Kenmore Park & Ride. We’ll head to Snohomish via Woodinville and Maltby. Weather permitting, we may stop at the Snohomish Bakery for a slightly longer break.
After the ride is finished, please feel free to join us at 192 Brewing Company (7324 NE 175th St F, Kenmore) for a bite to eat.
Rest Stops: Blythe Park MP 2.0 and Snohomish MP 19.0
Parking: We will meet at the northwest corner of the parking lot.
Restroom use at the start: There are no restrooms at the start; please plan accordingly.
Registration: Please register and sign the electronic waiver. This saves time at the start of the ride.
Weather: Please come with long fenders, including a buddy flap, if the roads are wet. The ride will be canceled with heavy rain, high winds, flooding, ice/snow or other unsafe riding conditions, and a cancellation comment will be posted here at least two hours before the start of the ride.
Mechanical issues: You should also be prepared to fix a flat tire, with tools, tubes and the ability to change the tire yourself. The group will generally not stop for repairs.
Note: Please show up to the ride start at least 20 minutes early, so we can discuss the safety briefing before starting the ride promptly at 10:00am.
