Route: This is a steady paced ride from Ron Regis Park on the Cedar River trail and then on to the Black Diamond Bakery for a tasty treat. Helmets and a functioning bicycle are required.

Pace: "Steady pace" is 12 - 14 mph on a flat surface without any headwind. You should dress appropriately for the weather. Please bring all of the tools and tubes needed to fix a flat.

RSVP: Please RSVP by clicking the red Register button at the top of the page. Please be courteous to your fellow riders by arriving 20 to 30 minutes early to prepare your bike, check-in, and listen to the S.M.A.R.T. talk. We will leave promptly at 10 am.

Fenders: If the roads are wet, please come equipped with fenders long enough to keep the person riding behind you dry.

Parking:  Free parking at Ron Regis parking lot.  There are bathrooms at the start and at the bakery (approximately halfway through the ride).

Mechanical:  Be prepared if you have a mechanical problem e.g. flat tire.  Bring a spare tube, tools, patch kit, pump and skills to fix flats, and have a mobile phone and a plan for rescue in case your bike fails.

Cue sheets:  No cue sheets will be provided. A Ride With GPS map file and cue sheet are available at the link, below.  If you want a cue sheet, please print it and bring it along.

Register - Please RSVP by clicking on the red "Register Now" button under the ride title above. This will save us time at the start.  Note that the on-line RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account, which is easy to set up, but if you don't want one of those just come anyway and sign the hard-copy attendance and hold-harmless (waiver) sheet.

Weather cancellation:  If "Showers cancel" conditions exist on ride day, we will not go to the start.  In that case, I'll post a ride-canceled message in the Comments block below, not later than two hours prior to start time.  Ice or frost/snow that makes driving to the start unwise also will cancel.  If the weather looks iffy, check here before leaving for the ride.

If you have questions, please contact the ride leaders.
