  • Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
  • If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
  • Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
  • Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
  • A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

A steady paced ride from Ron Regis Park to the Black Diamond Bakery for a tasty treat. On on the way back to Renton we'll ride the Soos Creek Trail for another treat.  

There are bathrooms at the start and at the bakery (approximately halfway through the ride).

The RidewithGPS route map and the cue sheet are in the link below. Cue sheets will not be provided, please print one if desired. "Steady pace" is 12 - 14 mph on a flat surface without any headwind. You should dress appropriately for the weather. Please bring all of the tools and tubes needed to fix a flat.

Please RSVP by clicking the red Register button at the top of the page. Please be courteous to your fellow riders by arriving 20 to 30 minutes early to prepare your bike, check-in, and listen to the S.M.A.R.T. talk. We will leave promptly at 10 am. 

Showers cancel. If weather conditions such as steady rain or other adverse conditions occur, a ride notice will be posted in the Comments below, two hours prior, and the ride leader will not be at the start.

We pre-rode our proposed route yesterday, the weather was great if a bit cold. During our ride we realized that our proposed routing isn't the best for a November ride, especially if it is a cold or rainy day, so we are going to fall back on the tried and true Coffee Run route. The new route is just a bit shorter and it has fewer steep, shady climbs and descents.

Sorry folks, Today's Ron Regis to Black Diamond ride canceled 11/14/18 due to Rain and  rain forecast for duration of ride. We will reschedule for Saturday. See you next ride!
