Terrible regret over cancelling the October ride due to weather fears - so let's try again THIS SUNDAY!

Ride #6 TAKE TWO : Meet at 9:15am on Proctor and 28th in front of Mason Middle School for introductions and brief safety talk. On Ride #5, a few riders said they had never been on all the sections of Gig Harbor's Cushman Trail - this is the ride that remedies that situation! We'll start on Proctor street, head towards theTacoma Narrows Bridge and then do an out and back on all of Cushman Trail. Post ride brunch location is Waffle Stop (link below, looks yummy!)

Pace is moderate - defined at 14-16 miles per hour on flat terain with no wind. There are some hills  - we'll take those at our own paces and regroup after. Ride is more social than training - slightly slower riders and faster riders who can pace down a bit are welcome. If you are new to Cascade Free Group rides, please click on  "read our newcomer information" at the top. Please send me a message or post a comment if you are unsure if this is a good ride for you or if you have any other questions.

Helmets are required for all participants on Cascade Free Group rides. Some other good things to have: a charged cell phone, ID, water and snacks, supplies to fix a flat (spare tube, pump, tire levers) fenders on your bike if roads are wet, front and back lights. Bring a credit card and/or cash, especially if you are staying for brunch. A lock for your bike is also a good idea.

Register for the ride by clicking the red "register now" button. Basic Cascade Bicycle Club memberships are now FREE - so become a basic member if you do not already have an account (or just be sure to show up at 9:15 so you can sign the waiver before we ride at 9:30).

Cancellation Policy: Steady rain cancels. If the ride is cancelled, the cancellation will be posted in the comments section below before 7:30 am  and ride leader will not be at the start
