  • Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
  • If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
  • Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
  • Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
  • A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Come burn off some off the calories you ate on Thanksgiving with a hilly social ride from Cottage Lake Park to Redmond Ridge.  Enjoy beautiful quiet backroads and a coffee stop at Starbucks at mile 19, (food for purchase there and other choices nearby).  There are bathrooms at the park but the water may be off for the winter so bring 2 full water bottles.  Bring pocket snacks and money for coffee or food. 

Since it is likely to be too cold to stand around and wait,  your fellow riders will appreciate that you arrive and are ready by 10:55 so we can have the SMART briefing and roll promptly at 11:00. 

In the event of showers or worse I will not be at the start location but will post a cancellation notice in the comments section of this posting by 08:30.  Please check the comments section before driving to the start.   Showers during the ride could amend the route.  Freezing temperatures, frosty roads or ice will also cancel this ride. 

Please print a cue sheet from the link provided if you would like one.  If you have a Cascade account you can pre-register for this ride up until 08:30 of ride day.  If your plans change you do not need to unregister.  You are also welcome to sign in at the start.

I have to travel unexpectedly next week due to my brother's illness.   Shaun Ivory has graciously agreed to lead this ride in my absence.   You will be in good hands! 

Even though I am a girl I have a full freedom from my home for doing such bike rides. It is only because of this team because they are providing very social distancing and safe rides to all people    cbd candies
