  • Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
  • If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
  • Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
  • Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
  • A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Join for ride to Wally's Drive-In in Buckley along the beautiful Foothills Trail.  

This will be a mentored ride for Jeff McGuire!  Woo-hoo!

Please register for the ride using the red "Register Now" button at the top of this page.  Registration is not mandatory but it allows us to print the rider list beforehand and helps us save time at the ride start.  On-line registration closes the night before, and if you decide to ride after that we will have a waiver sheet for you to sign manually.   

If you are a new rider, we are very happy to have you with us.  Please read the newcomer link at the top of the page, and keep in mind that a helmet is required on all Cascade rides.  Also, riders should be able to sustain the pace (between 14-16mph on flat terrain), carry nutrition/water, and have the know-how and equipment to fix a flat tire.  Everyone should carry a phone to call for assistance if needed. Riders will be at their own pace going uphill and downhill, we will regroup after climbs and at major intersections.   On the Foothills Trail, we will be slowing down when passing pedestrians.

Arrive at least 20 minutes early so that you can get yourself ready, sign the waiver, and listen to the S.M.A.R.T. briefing. This allows us to have an on-time departure.

A route map and cue sheet are at the Ride With GPS link, below.  If you want a cue sheet please print and bring it.  The ride leader will not have extra copies.

Cancellation Policy: If needed, a weather cancellation will be posted two hours prior in the Comments section, below, and the ride leader will not be at the start. Heavy showers, high winds, or unhealthy air quality will cancel.  Please check here before leaving for the ride.
