We will leave Hogan Park (formerly Russell Road Park), riding the trail around the golf course and head south and east out the Green River Trail and some quiet roads, past Isaac Evans park (first stop about mile 7) and skirt downtown Auburn on our way up the hill passing through Black Diamond. We will leave there going east for a little climb then a dip down to the Green River Gorge bridge for a photo op.  Then back out of the Gorge, we head south some more and connect with a lovely country road on the east side of the Enumclaw plateau before dropping down into the valley taking Green Valley Road back to Auburn and the flat ride to Hogan Park on the trail.

NOTE:  After the stop at Isaac Evans mile 7, which may be Sanican only, the next stop is the Black Diamond Bakery at about mile 21.  If you need to use the faciliities or get water at the Bakery, please buy your mid-ride snack there. We are not going to stop long but please give them business if you use their hospitality.  Between the Gorge and the Enumclaw plateau, we will be on a quiet road with Green Door opportunities (mile 26-30).  We will regroup at the end of this segment in case anyone stopped for a trip into the woods.  Next stop is at Green Valley Meats about mile 42 for Sanicans and water/snacks for purchase.

Water, restrooms and ample parking available at Hogan Park.  RWGPS route and cue sheet link are below.  If you need a cue sheet, please print one.

Please arrive early enough to unload your bike etc. and be prepared to leave at 10am sharp after the SMART briefing.

Please RSVP by clicking on the red "Register Now" button under the ride title above, then checking the box for "Waiver Signature" and filling in the contact information.  This will save us time at the start.  Note that the on-line RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account, which is easy to set up, but if you don't want one of those just come anyway and sign the hard-copy attendance/hold harmless sheet.

The listed phone will not be answered after 8:00 on the morning of the ride.  If weather conditions meet the "Showers cancel" criterion, I will post a ride-cancelled note in Comments, below, at least 2 hours prior and not go to the start.  If the weather looks iffy, please check here before leaving for the ride
