Fall is here, so that means it's time to ride for pastries! Today's route takes us to Larsen's Bakery in Ballard/Loyal Heights.

Join us for a 28 mile, Steady-paced (15mph/13 mph) loop through the various neighborhoods of north Seattle (Fremont, Lower Queen Anne, Magnolia, Ballard, Wallingford). Let's meet in the parking lot of Gas Works Park, at 8:45am for a pre-ride brief, then rolling promptly at 9:00am.  We have few longish climbs throughout the route including Dexter Ave, Magnolia Loop, Discovery Park, and Golden Gardens Drive, but the pastries are well worth the effort.  Our pastries await us at Larsen's Bakery at mile marker 22.3; then our full bellies will carry us towards Green Lake as we head to the ride start at Gas Works Park.

Pace: Please note, we will ride within the posted pace on the flats with an equivalent effort up hills. If you plan to ride faster or slower, please come prepared to ride on your own so that each pace group does not have long wait times. We'll limit speed to posted limits while on multi-use paths.

Regroups/Mechanicals: This will be a social ride with regroups at the top of bigger hills and at all critical turns along the way. Please come prepared with the necessary equipment you may need to take care of flats or other mechanical problems. A cue sheet is available for you to print (at the link below) and is good to have in case you happen to get separated from the group.

Cancellation Policy: In the event of a weather cancellation, a notice will be posted in the comments on this page at least two hours before the ride and the ride leaders will not be at the ride start location.

Registration: Please pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above.

Hope you can join us!
