Escape the traffic and join us for a ride along mostly scenic rural roads traveling from Snohomish, through Monroe, and over to Sultan where we'll enjoy a quick pastry at the Sultan Bakery. On our return to Snohomish we'll follow beautiful Ben Howard Road to Monroe where we will then retrace our path back to the start. Much of the route is a mixture of flats and low rolling hills. There are a few hills with a bit more grade sprinkled along the route, but they are short in length.

If roads are wet or weather reports suggest a possibility of rain, full fenders with long mud flaps are highly recommended and greatly appreciated for the comfort and safety of your fellow riders as well as yourself. No fenders means you are happy to ride in the back.

Riders should bring a spare tube, patch kit, pump, tools, and knowledge to repair flats and minor mechanical issues. Please have a backup plan in case of a major mechanical (someone to call for rescue or an ORCA card). It happens!

Though a food stop is planned riders should carry ample hydration and snacks. This is important should we experience any delays along the route.

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start in order to prepare yourself and your bike prior to safety briefing. Ride rolls out at 10:00.

Public restrooms and water are available at the start and at miles 9, 18, and 27.

Registration: To save time at the start, please register for the ride by clicking on red Register Now button. No need to unregister if you are no longer able to ride.

Route: A Ride With GPS route is available at the link below. Please print a cuesheet if you would like one.

Ride Cancellation: Should conditions call for a cancellation day of ride, a cancellation notice will be posted in the comment section below two hours prior. This includes steady rain, freezing temperatures, frost/ice on roads, high winds, or poor air quality. If weather is questionable please check here before leaving for start. Ride leader will not be at the start if conditions call for cancellation prior to ride.

While it looks like we could get some light rain the second half of our ride, the ride is on. This is a second mentored ride for Wally Davis which he needs in order to become a Cascade ride leader. We need a minimum of six riders for it to count so we hope to see all of you there. Just bring your rain gear so you can remain comfortable if it rains. Don't worry if you haven't registered. You can just show up and sign the waiver at the start.

This Snohomish-Monroe-Sultan Loop is a fun one because it covers a lot of firsts for most bikers.  cbd usage  Riding on an interstate highway is pretty exhilarating to cross such a large body of water with mountain and city skyline views.
