This 53-mile ride will be an enjoyable jaunt out of Auburn rolling through Black Diamond and dropping down to the Green River Gorge. From there we climb up to the plateau and cruise on into Enumclaw for some of the best pie in the state at the Pie Goddess. After that, it's backcountry roads, occasional farm scents, and some great views before rolling back to Auburn.
Restrooms: At the start (Wal-Mart), mile 14 Black Diamond Bakery, 29.5 Pie Goddess (at the Library), 49 Green Valley Meats Porta-Potty.
Food stop: mile 29.5 Pie Goddess
Arrive at least 30 minutes early so that you can get yourself ready, sign the waiver, and listen to the S.M.A.R.T. briefing. This allows us to have an on-time departure.
Be considerate and have full fenders including mud flaps if roads are wet or a prediction of rain is in the forecast, or ride in the back.
A route map and cue sheet are on the Ride With GPS link, below. If you want a cue sheet please print and bring it. The ride leader will not have extra copies.
