From Park and Ride to Park(ing) Day - TACOMA!
KEEPING RIDERS SAFE
- Advance registration required for all participants. If you decide not to ride, please click Cancel My Registration below to open space for others. (How to cancel)
- Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
- If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
- Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
- Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
- A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Come celebrate Park(ing) Day in Tacoma! We'll meet at the Park and Ride near the Tacoma Narrows Bridge (Narrows Park and Ride/War Memorial Park) at noon. Ride will start at 12:15. We'll go though North Tacoma to Downtown Tacoma. When we get to Tollefson Plaza, (across from the Tacoma Art Museum) we'll take a break to check out the pop-up parks along Pacific Avenue. Helmets are required for all participants on Cascade Free Group rides. Some other good things to have: credit card/cash, a charged cell phone, ID, water and snacks, supplies to fix a flat (spare tube, pump, tire levers) fenders on your bike if roads are wet. A bike lock might also be helpful.
Register for the ride by clicking the red "register now" button. You do not need to be a member of Cascade to register on-line, you merely need to create a free account. Doing this beforehand will save us time at the start and your informaton will be legible on the paperwork.
Cancellation Policy: Steady rain cancels. If the ride is cancelled, the cancellation will be posted in the comments section below before 10am and ride leader will not be at the start
