Puyallup to Buckley
KEEPING RIDERS SAFE

- Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
- If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
- Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
- Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
- A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

This ride from the Puyallup trailhead using the Foothills Trail heads to Orting and then a gentle climb to Buckley. There are wonderful views of the Carbon River and the newly open section connecting to Buckley has a great wooden bridge to cross. Coming back includes some small rollers just keep the legs warm.
The trail is popular, we will slow for pedestrians and other bikes.
Restroom at start and at miles 15 & 25.
New Riders: Welcome - review link below. Riders should be able to maintain the pace and know how to change a flat tire (and carry the equipment to do so).
Cue sheet: Print a cue sheet from the Ride With GPS Route link below.
Regroup: We will regroup at the top of hills. Mechanicals will not stop the group. Have an alternate plan if you cannot finish the ride.
Cancellation Policy: In the event of a weather cancellation, it will be posted 2 hours prior to the start in the comments section on Cascade and the Ride Leader will not be at the start.
