This ride will be a perfect way to add training for otherwise weekend riders without spending too much time. And it’s a great way to enjoy the long daylight of Pacific Northwest summers. Do join us for a More Hills (moderate) ride Wednesday nights. These rides are a fun way to gain strength and confidence
E Bikes are welcome
We start from Lower Woodland Park and will ride on urban Seattle/Shoreline streets as well as some trails. We will keep the published pace on flats, but you can go uphill at your own pace. We will keep the group together on these rides. It’s nice to bring your own cue sheet. Please pack water, snack, and tools/tubes to fix a flat as always. Even though the majority of ride will be in daylight, please have your lights (both front and back) just in case.
This week we will ride east toward Lake Washington and work our way north to Pinehurst golf cource riding up Sandpoint Way and Roosevelt way ultimately back to Green Lake on 1st and 5th Ave NE . This will be a bit of a hilly evening ride with appx 1383ft of elevation gain. A perfect hills workout.
We will roll at 6 pm so please come twenty minutes early to get ready, sign a waiver, and listen to the safety briefing. Registering here will make the process easier and we can better prepare with appropriate number of Ride Leaders. In addition to showers, any other hazardous conditions will cancel a ride. If a ride is cancelled due to hazardous conditions, the notice will be posted here in the comments section below by 4:00 p.m. on the day of the ride. If that notice is posted, the ride leaders will not be at the start.

Air quality
The smoke for today is still in the "red" zone and really would not be healthy for riders. So today's ride is cancelled.
