Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

They're back!!! The Blues are back. We'll ride from the Newport Hills P&R over the East Channel bridge and do a lap of Mercer Island before arriving at a prime viewing area roof deck at mile 14. We'll relax, have lunch and watch a great show. After the show, we'll return to the starting point. Coffee and cold water will be provided but bring your lunch. Fair warning: This ride is more about the Blues than the cycling. Note: your non-riding significant other is welcome to join us to watch the show. Parking however would be problematic.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to hear ride and safety briefings, as we plan to depart on schedule. No restrooms or water at start, but we will stop at Newcastle Beach Park at mile 1.

Pace is moderate -14-16 MPH on flat; slower uphill and faster down.
