- Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
- If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
- Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
- Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
- A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Please note: A ride leader candidate will be mentored on this ride.
This Monday we will start from the north end of the theater parking lot of the Outlet Collection Mall in Auburn and ride up to Black Diamond. The first 5 miles are flat. Around mile 5.3 we begin the 4 mile climb up out of the valley to the Black Diamond plateau. Once we reach the top of our climb we will re-group before continuing on for another 5.5 miles to our rest stop at the Black Diamond Bakery. After a 20 minute break we will head back to Auburn and retrace our route to 218th Ave SE. Here we turn off of Auburn Black Diamond Road and descend 218th, a 10% grade hill, to the valley below and pick up Green Valley Road which will take us along beautiful and scenic country side back towards Auburn.
Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the ride start at 9 AM so you can get your bike and yourself ready and hear the S.M.A.R.T. talk (safety briefing).
Restrooms are at the start inside the Walmart store.
New riders are welcome, but please review link below. Riders should be able to maintain the pace and know how to change a flat tire (and carry the equipment to do so).
Come prepared to fix flats and have a plan for dealing with mechanical issues. Generally the group will not wait for flats/mechanical issues so make sure you know the route or have printed a CUE sheet.
Please register for the ride by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page, click the waiver release box, complete the Emergency Contact Number, and click on Save. By doing this you will save time at the ride start. If you are unable to attend you do not need to "un-register."
