Please join us for a moderate paced ride through the Eastside. Starting at the Woodinville Sports Fields, we will do a grand tour through Bothell, Kirkland, Bellevue and back to Woodinville. We will stop at mile 22.8 for a snack break at the QFC/Starbucks in Bellevue Village Center on 10th.
Restrooms are available at the start, and at the break.
Riders should be at the start 15 minutes early to ready their bikes and hear the safety/route talk, for a prompt 9am rollout.
The route/cue sheet is at the link below. Please download or print it if you want it during the ride.
We will regroup as necessary, but it would be a good idea to take my phone number so you can contact me if you have a problem while off the back.
The weather is expected to be hot and sunny. Be sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen. There are opportunities for water fill-ups along the route. Fenders are highly recommended and appreciated if the roads are wet. You can still ride with us without them, but if you are spraying those behind you we'll ask you to ride at the back.
Please be prepared to take care of flats or minor mechanicals, and have a way to get yourself home or back to start in case you are unable to complete the ride. We'll stop and assist for minor mechanicals and punctures.
Please register in advance on this website to save time at the start. (You need a CBC account, but you don't have to be a member to get one. Or you can register manually at the start.) You don't have to un-register if you can't make the ride.
In case of cancellation the ride leader will not be at the start and a cancellation notice will be posted in COMMENTS below at least two hours prior to start. Please check for potential cancellation prior to heading to the ride.
