This is a Sunday Morning, social ride that will start from Ron Regis Park in Renton and heads south to Black Diamond for a short stop at the Black Diamond Bakery.  We will keep the pace in the Moderate range (14-16) on the flats.  When on the Cedar River Trail we will maintain the posted speed limit.  Climbing will be at your own pace with regroups at the top.  Port-a-potty located at the start.

Registration: Please register for this ride in advance on the Cascade site, it helps ensure there is sufficient Ride Leader support. You can register now by selecting the Register Now  button at the top of this page, then follow the prompts. Online registrations are accepted until 2:00pm.  After that time all riders must register at the ride start. In addition, those who register in advance, please check in at the ride start to verify attendance.

Ride Start Details: Ride will start promptly at 9:00am from Ron Regis Park parking lot.  Please arrive early enough to set up, check in and/or sign the ride waiver, and participate in the ride overview and Cascade SMART talk.  If you are a new rider to Cascade Free Group Rides, we welcome you! Ride Requirements:  If desired, please print off and bring cue sheet. We will NOT have copies at the start.  Please be knowledgeable and equipped with tubes, pump, etc to handle flats or minor mechanicals. Depending on the size of the group, we may not always be able to stop for mechanicals. If roads are wet, bikes without FULL rear fenders are a safety issue for other riders. You will be asked to ride at the rear of the group if conditions warrant.

Regroups: We regroup at the top of major hills and at major turns.  You should be prepared with a cue sheet or other device to navigate back to the start should you be unable to continue

Cancellation: Steady rain or otherwise unsafe riding conditions will cancel this ride. In the event of a cancellation, a notice will be posted at least two hours prior in the comments section below.  Please check here before going to the ride start.  

A good headlight and taillight are recommended. Helmets are required to ride.
