Join us for a 30.4 mile, 1390' elevation gain as we ride to West Seattle via the Myrtle-Edwards trail and return via the International District and Capitol Hill.  Along the way, we will visit Alki, the Dragonfly Garden and Pavillion, the Salmon Bone Bridge, Holy Names Academy and Interlaken Park.  We will also have a one mile descent on Fairmount Ave and have a short section of dirt trail.  There will also be an optional steep hill in West Seattle for the climbing enthusiasts.  We will re-group on the tops of all major hills.  We will keep to the speed limit of 15 mph on the Myrtle-Edwards and Burke-Gilman trails.  Afterwards, we'll head to the Nickerson Street Saloon for food, drinks and socializing for those interested.

Please make sure to arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the start time to get your bike set up, sign the waiver, and to listen to the safety talk.

The ride leaders will not be at the ride start should conditions be as noted in “Showers Cancels” above.  I will announce the cancellation in the comments section below at least 2 hours prior to the ride start and will monitor my phone and/or email listed in the contact information. If you have questions about the weather, please call (or email) before you leave for the ride.
