New to the city or just looking for an opportunity to explore on your bike? Take advantage of of the local knowledge and skills of your ride leader and EXPLORE your CITY! Get riding for health, fitness or just fun! This is a social ride with experienced ride leaders.
Do you ride an e-assist bike for commute and errands, but not much more? Let's go over the 520 bridge to the Eastside and explore a hidden gem of Medina Park! This tiny park offers a garden full of flowers and water views. After a ride, there is an optional hydration session at Floating Bridge Brewing.
***This ride lasts for 17 miles or 2 hours of stop and go. Please have your battery charged!***
Please arrive 20 minutes before the published start time to ready your bike and check in.
If you aren't sure about your pace, please join us anyway. If you need to return to the start early simply notify the ride leader. Carrying an ORCA card is another good option.
You should dress appropriately for the weather, but you do not need spandex or other specialized bike gear. All you need is a working bike, water, and a helmet. If you haven't ridden your bike for quite some time, please do a ABC Check (link below) or take it to your local bike shop a few days prior to the ride date.
During the safety and ride briefing, we will go over hand signals and what we say during the ride to keep ourselves safe.
