KEEPING RIDERS SAFE

- Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
- If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
- Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
- Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
- A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Join us for a ride through West Ellensburg, Irene Rinehart Park to the Umptanum to climb Shushuskin Canyon. The climb will be self-paced, regrouping at the top where the pavement ends. If you are a fast climber, hill repeats are welcomed. The descent is self-paced arriving safely at the corner of Umptanum and Riverbottom to again, regroup. Our ride will continue on the Riverbottom Loop and back into Ellensburg to The ReCycle Shop.
Please read the newcomer link, and keep in mind that a helmet is required on all Cascade rides. Also, riders should be able to sustain the pace, carry nutrition/water, and have the know-how and equipment to fix a flat tire.
Arrive at least 15 minutes early so that you can get yourself ready, sign the waiver, and listen to the S.M.A.R.T. briefing. This allows us to have an on-time departure.
Cancellation Policy: If needed, a weather cancellation (showers/ice/snow/high winds) will be posted two hours prior in the Comments section, below, and the ride leader will not be at the start. Please check here before leaving for the ride.
