In view of the questionable weather forecast, I'm posting this 44.6 mile route, which has options for shortening if we are getting wet. It goes from Woodinville to Monroe via Lost Lake, then to lunch at Snohomish Bakery, and return via Broadway. Great rural cycling.
Restrooms are available at City Hall and across the street at Wilmot Gateway Park, in Monroe and at lunch.
Riders should be at the start at least 15 minutes early to ready their bikes and hear the safety/route talk, for a prompt 10am rollout.
The route/cue sheet is at the link below. Please download or print it if you want it during the ride.
We will regroup as necessary, but it would be a good idea to take my phone number so you can contact me if you have a problem while off the back.
Fenders are highly recommended and appreciated if the roads are likely to be wet.
Please be prepared to take care of flats or minor mechanicals, and have a way to get yourself home or back to start in case you are unable to complete the ride.
Please register in advance on this website to save time at the start. You don't have to un-register if you can't make the ride.
In case of cancellation the ride leader will not be at the start and a cancellation notice will be posted in COMMENTS below at least two hours prior to start. Please check for potential cancellation prior to heading to the ride.

Flat Follow-Up
Just in case anyone is wondering - I got a flat on the ride regardless of my Mr. Tuffy tire liner. What are the odds - I had a huge gash in my sidewall. So now, I have a new tire to replace my former new tire which was only three rides old! Ah well!
...
Mr. Tuffy doesn't protect sidewalls...
Any idea how the gash
Any idea how the gash happened?
