Join us on a tightened-up version of the traditional "7 Hills of Kirkland" route.
We'll warm-up on Juanita Hill, then climb Seminary, Norway, Kingsgate, Winery, and Rose hills in turn. Regroup points are marked on the Ride With GPS route, so you can take the hills at your own pace. Relax between hills at a social moderate pace. Heading back, we'll take in some great lake views along the Cross Kirkland Corridor (you won't need special tires for this groomed gravel trail).
We will observe the speed limit on the multi-use trails, and roll slow for the final mile (which includes sidewalk and a walkway through wetlands).
Bring snacks to refuel at the regroups and rest stops; there's no formal lunch stop due to the 4 hour parking limit at Juanita Beach Park.
After the ride, join us at Urban COFFEE lounge (urbancoffeelounge.com; 9744 NE 119th Way, Kirkland)
Restroom at the start, and at mile 9.1 and 27 (optional stop at mile 22.2). Route map and cue sheet at the Link, below.
Bring tools and knowledge to repair flats, and a plan to get home if needed.
If roads are wet, stable fenders/flaps that extend to within 4" of the ground are recommended (you can ride with less, but you'll be responsible for staying behind everyone who has longer fenders).
Please register in advance on this website to save time at the start. Online registration closes 2 hours before ride start (you can still register manually at the start). Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early for briefing and ride prep.
If the weather gives us a break we're set to go... but in case of cancellation, the ride leader will not be at the start, and notice will be posted here two hours prior.

RIDE CANCELLED
forecasts say it will start raining about the time the ride would start, and probably get pretty heavy about an hour into the ride (.25")
