This is a training ride to introduce riders to Zoo Hill on Cougar Mountain in Issaquah.  Zoo Hill is one of the premier hills in the Eastside.  It's a fun, scenic ride with NO flat riding, you're either going up, or down.  Since this is mostly a hill climb, riders will climb at their own pace, and we'll regroup at several places.  The grade varies between 3% to 18%, with most of the ride in the 8 - 13% range.  There will be an option when we're finished to climb one of the additional local hills (either Newport to 164th, or Lakemont) for some additional mileage and elevation.

The ride starts at the Lewis Creek Park, which has both water and bathrooms.

The ride will be canceled if it rains.
