Regular start point for MUMPS rides will be Woodinville Fields parking lot until daylight time ends. Moderate pace MUMPS rides may be posted as the traditional spring/summer "Head Up North" rides; however moderate rides will sometimes go east, west, south, or combination thereof! There will often be a brisk or vigorous pace MUMPS ride (posted separately) led by Craig Mohn from the same place and time, but not always on the same route.
This week's ride heads to Everett and Snohomish via trails and roads, with a lunch stop halfway.
Restrooms at the start are available at Woodinville City Hall and across the street at Wilmot Gateway Park, at the coffee/lunch stop, and on the return route.
Riders should be at the start 15 minutes early to ready their bikes and hear the safety/route talk, for a prompt 10am rollout.
The route/cue sheet is at the link below. Please download or print it if you want it during the ride.
We will regroup as necessary, but it would be a good idea to take my phone number so you can contact me if you have a problem while off the back.
Fenders are highly recommended and appreciated if the roads are wet. Please be prepared to take care of flats or minor mechanicals, and have a way to get yourself home or back to start in case you are unable to complete the ride.
Please register in advance on this website to save time at the start. (You need a CBC account, but you don't have to be a member to get one. Or you can register manually at the start.) You don't have to un-register if you can't make the ride.
In case of cancellation the ride leader will not be at the start and a cancellation notice will be posted in COMMENTS below at least two hours prior to start. Please check for potential cancellation prior to heading to the ride.
And remember, don't get the flu, catch the MUMPS instead. (Monday Unemployed Merry Pedalers).

CANCELLED
At the risk of wasting a possibly rideable day, I'm basing this cancellation on two different hourly forecasts for Kirkland, Kenmore, and Snohomish that say it's going to be wet and breezy through the ride time. Sorry. Let's ride this route another day.
