Come explore some of the nicest neighborhoods in West Seattle, with sweeping views and a fun crew.
This ride is designed for:
- People who are just coming out of winter hibernation
- People who always wanted to get to know West Seattle better
- West Seattleites who don't feel like leaving "the island"
- People who like tacos as their recovery food
- People who don't mind taking photos along the way
Join us as we cruise along Alki, tackle a few hills, and meander down some secret streets known only to a few. Should take us just over an hour. When we're done, we'll grab a delicious brunch at Marination.
We'll start at the Seacrest Pier. There is a public restroom near the bike path. Please plan to arrive by 9:40am. This is normally where the water taxi arrives, but it won't be running on Sunday until after March 28.
The route has two main uphill portions, and we'll plan to regroup frequently to catch our breath and take photos!
Please bring a lock so you can leave your bike outside Marination while we eat brunch.
All riders should come equipped to deal with their own mechanical issues, flats and bring enough snacks and water. Waiting for mechanical issues will be at the discretion of the ride leader. Please arrive at least 20 minutes early (at 9:40am) to get yourself ready, listen to the safety briefing and sign or check the safety waiver. 10:00am is roll-out time!

I just pre-rode the route this weekend, and one correction, I think it'll take us 1.5-2 hours, assuming we regroup frequently for photo ops :-)
