KEEPING RIDERS SAFE

- Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
- If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
- Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
- Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
- A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

We will leave the Sumner Fred Meyer heading toward Buckley and then loop back around to the start. This route has fairly flat riding at the beginning and end, while the middle adds some up and down hilly sections. Overall it's a nice combination of Foothills trail and low traffic country roads with some hills thrown in to keep your legs warm.

Potty stops: mile 18.5 (sooner if needed), 24 (Food & Potty), 36 (Orting Park potty).
Arrive 30 minutes early to ready your bike, check in, and to listen to the S.M.A.R.T talk.
"Moderate Pace" is 14 - 15 mph on a flat surface without any headwind. You should dress appropriately for the weather.
Register - Please sign an e-waiver by clicking on the “Register Now” button at the top of this page (right below the ride title) and enter your information. If you cannot make the ride, you do not need to unregister.
Weather - Showers or more severe weather will cancel the ride. Ride cancellation will be announced in the comments section at least two hours before the start time, and the ride leader(s) will not be at the start.
