Let's start the new year right! Please join a shortish route between Gas Works Park and Seward Park.
We will go at the lower end of the pace (14mph) on the way out via Burke-Gilman and Arboretum trails. Once we get to Lake Washington Blvd, we will pick up to the higher end of the pace (16mph). We will take a short break at Seward Park before heading back.
If you haven't touched your bike since last summer, please make sure to do an ABC check (air, brake, and chain). If you are planning on riding frequently this year, going into your local bike shop is not a bad idea. In case of flat, we can have a quick-n-dirty fix a flat class on the roadside, but PLEASE have all of your tools (pumps, tire levers, etc) and tubes (of appropriate size for your tires) with you!
10am is a roll out time. Please be courteous and come early enough to get ready for other's sake. It's still chilly out, so we don't want to wait around.
In addition to showers, any iffy and sketchy conditions (ice, snow, etc.) will cancel the ride. If the weather is predictably bad, the cancellation is announced in the comment section below 2 hours prior to the ride start time and the ride leader won't be at the start. Please check here before you head out if you aren't sure.

Ride is ON!
It's wet now, but I don't see new clouds coming in (news is too busy talking about Super Bowl, so I have to make my guess). Make sure to have a rain jacket just in case!
