Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Uppity Up 212th and 218th!

We leave the mall and head out towards the Flaming Geyser before turning right onto 212th, a 1-mile hill with a short section of 11-13% grade. After reaching the top, we continue for five country miles before heading back down a shorter version of 212th and straight up 218th, a gentle mile long hill before heading through some subdivisions and down Auburn-Black Diamond Road and back to the start. 212th can be challenging, and I assure you it is self-rewarding. If you want to push yourself but worried you might be too slow, join anyway. I have a plan 'B' that will not keep the group waiting at the top but remember you still need to ride up 218th.

Arrive at least 30 minutes early so you can get yourself ready, sign the waiver, and listen to the S.M.A.R.T. briefing. This will allow us to have an on-time departure.

Be considerate and have full fenders including mud flaps if roads are wet or a prediction of rain is in the forecast, or ride in the back. Bring an extra tube and tools needed to change a flat.

A route map and cue sheet are on the Ride With GPS link, below. If you want a cue sheet, please print and bring it. The ride leader will not have extra copies.

Cancellation Policy: If needed, a weather cancellation will be posted two hours before the start in the Comments section below, and the ride leader will not be at the start. Please check here before leaving for the ride.

There is a restroom in Wal-Mart at the start. Porta potty mile 20 brief stop for restroom and nutrition-bring nutrition, there is no food to purchase.
