This is a great ride along some quiet roads and through some delightful neighborhoods. We'll head east then up to Cottage Lake and Redmond Ridge.  From there we head back to Log Boom via Kingsgate and Juanita. Bring some low gears as there is some significant climbing! This is a stay together ride. We will regroup at the top of hills. There will be no map or cue sheet provided by the ride leader (though you can print it off the RWGPS link) so you won't want to stray too far from the Ride Leader as we go through several little trails that give us access from one neighborhood to another.  There is a coffee/snack break at a Starbucks about 2/3rds into the ride.  Ride Leader will cancel by 7:30 AM if it looks like rain or the possibility of ice or snow. Check the website before you leave home if the weather looks iffy!

To save time and to make the sign-in process much easier, please register for this ride. If you already have a Cascade account make sure you are logged in and click the <Register> button at the top of the ride description, then make sure to check the box indicating you have read the Waiver & Release, add your emergency phone number and click <Save Registration> button. Don’t worry if you can’t make the ride, you needn’t unregister. If you don’t have a cascade free rides account, consider setting one up it only takes a couple of minutes and doesn't cost you a thing. If you’ve pre-registered all you need to do is check off your name at the start of the ride – no lengthy sign-in procedure. Make sure you are registered by no later than 7:30 AM on the day of the ride.

Note:  Over the summer a new 4-hour parking limit was instituted at the Log Boom parking lot.  Our ride should take just about 4 hours but if you are worried you can park along 175th.
